A leading organisation in Belfast is seeking a commercially focused Management Accountant to join its established Finance team on a 15 month contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for aqualified or part-qualified accountant with relevant experience to join a fast-paced environment and gain strong exposure across management accounting, logistics and supply chain finance.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the accurate and timely preparation of Management Accounts, while working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive efficiencies, improve financial performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and submit monthly Management Accounts for the logistics function, covering GB, NI and ROI.

Manage key balance sheet reconciliations and resolve issues promptly.

Present monthly P&L performance, providing clear financial analysis and commercial insight.

Support budgeting, forecasting and operational performance reviews.

Partner with Warehouse, Freight and Commercial Finance teams.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs across the Logistics P&L.

Work with key stakeholders to support business performance and continuous improvement.

Support audit and compliance requirements.

Experience & Qualifications ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or a part-qualified/finalist accountant with relevant experience.

Experience inmanagement accounting, supply chain finance or operational finance.

Strong analytical and Excel skills.

Commercially minded with the ability to influence and challenge non-financial stakeholders.

Strong communication, presentation and organisational skills.

Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting/ERP systems.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
