Key responsibilities
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock
- Pick and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
- Load and unload deliveries safely
- Move goods around the warehouse using appropriate equipment
- Maintain accurate stock handling and organised storage areas
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and efficient
- Work cooperatively with colleagues to meet daily requirements
Skills and qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is useful but not essential
- A reliable, punctual and positive approach to work
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Comfortable with manual handling and working on your feet
- Good awareness of safe working practices
- A flexible approach to overtime when required
