Key responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Moving, stacking and organising goods within the working area
- Checking loads and following site procedures
- Supporting general warehouse and yard duties as required
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment
- Working cooperatively with colleagues and following instructions
Skills and qualifications
- A current, recognised counterbalance forklift qualification
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to handle goods carefully and work accurately
- Reliable attendance and a positive approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
