Workchain are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an Onsite Lining Operative to join a busy and growing team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, field-based position working across the UK, installing high-quality vinyl liners into swimming pools during the construction phase. If you enjoy practical work, travelling, and being part of a supportive team, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in a specialist industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Measuring, handling, and cutting vinyl liners to precise specifications
- Heat welding and joining vinyl using handheld heat guns
- Delivering a high-quality, professional finish
- Working as part of a two-person onsite team
- Meeting deadlines while maintaining excellent workmanship
Full 1:1 training will be provided.
Requirements
- Practical or hands-on experience (construction, trade, or similar background preferred)
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Good communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Flexibility with working hours
- Willingness to travel nationwide, including regular overnight stays
Essential:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
