About the role
A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver in Winchester. You will complete multi-drop deliveries, with more than 10 drops per shift, while providing a reliable and professional service.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle
- Complete more than 10 deliveries per shift
- Load, secure and unload goods safely
- Follow planned delivery routes and schedules
- Complete delivery paperwork and relevant checks
- Communicate professionally with customers and site contacts
- Maintain high standards of vehicle safety and compliance
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Driver CPC and tachograph card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience, ideally involving over 10 drops
- Good knowledge of road safety and legal driving requirements
- Reliable, organised and punctual approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Physically able to assist with loading and unloading
