Key responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally
- Operate HIAB equipment for loading and unloading
- Deliver and collect materials in line with schedules
- Secure loads correctly and complete vehicle safety checks
- Carry out delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly
- Follow site, road and company health and safety procedures
- Provide a helpful and professional service at delivery locations
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- HIAB experience and the ability to operate lifting equipment safely
- Valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card, where applicable
- Good knowledge of vehicle safety, load security and road regulations
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Professional attitude with good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a physically active, outdoor role
