The role
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for temporary daytime work in West Bromwich. This is a hands-on driving role suited to someone confident completing multi-drop deliveries and working to scheduled delivery times.
Key responsibilities
- Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Completing multi-drop routes, typically involving more than 10 deliveries
- Loading, securing and checking goods before departure
- Completing delivery paperwork and obtaining proof of delivery
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Providing professional service at delivery locations
- Following road safety, transport and company procedures
Skills and qualifications
- Relevant HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Comfortable completing routes with 10 or more drops
- Good knowledge of road safety and safe vehicle operation
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able to work independently during daytime shifts
