Position: Van Driver (White Goods Delivery)

About the Role
Are you reliable, organised, and physically fit? We are seeking dependable Van Drivers to join a busy appliance company in Wellingborough. In this role, you will be the face of the company, safely delivering large home appliances (white goods) directly to customers' homes with the assistance of a driver's mate. This is a hands‑on, daytime position perfect for someone who enjoys meeting people, staying active, and working independently. Overtime available on Saturdays if desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive and navigate delivery vans across local routes.
- Carefully load, unload, and handle white goods (washing machines, fridges, etc.).
- Ensure all items are securely strapped and protected before transit.
- Provide a friendly, polite, and professional service when interacting with customers at their homes.
- Complete routine daily vehicle safety checks and report any issues promptly.
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently to ensure timely arrivals.
Skills and Requirements
- Licence: A valid UK driving licence with experience driving vans (or larger vehicles).
- Physical Fitness: Able to assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of appliances.
- Customer Skills: Excellent communication skills with a polite and approachable manner.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and well-organised with good time-management skills.
- Experience: Must have 1+ Year Experience and over 25 Years old.
