Workchain is recruiting on behalf of a valued client Workchain is currently seeking two experienced Logistics Customer Service Administrators to join a busy and fast-paced operation based in Wellesbourne.

This is an urgent requirement, and successful candidates should be available to start as soon as possible.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in logistics, freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, or 3PL operations who enjoy providing excellent customer service while managing shipments and operational processes from start to finish.

The Role As a Logistics Customer Service Administrator, you will act as a key link between customers and operational teams, ensuring the smooth movement of goods and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

You will be responsible for coordinating shipments, communicating with customers and carriers, tracking deliveries, resolving issues, and supporting day-to-day logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing customer orders and shipments from booking through to final delivery
  • Monitoring shipment progress and proactively managing delays, exceptions, or service issues
  • Liaising with customers, transport providers, warehouses, and internal operational teams
  • Providing excellent customer service and timely updates on shipment status
  • Accurately maintaining transport, order, and shipment records
  • Resolving customer queries and service-related issues efficiently
  • Supporting warehouse and transport operations to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Updating and managing information through WMS, transport management, and order management systems
  • Preparing and collating operational and billing information where required
  • Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and within agreed timescales Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within logistics, freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, or 3PL environments
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, transport, and supply chain operations
  • Experience managing shipments from booking through to delivery
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with customers, carriers, warehouses, and internal teams
  • Experience tracking shipments and proactively resolving operational issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Order Management Systems, and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with the confidence to work closely with operations and warehouse teams Desirable Skills
