- Complete scheduled steel deliveries safely and efficiently
- Load, secure and unload steel materials in line with safety procedures
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
- Follow driving, site and manual-handling requirements Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Driver CPC and tachograph card
- Previous experience with steel deliveries or similar heavy goods work
- Good knowledge of road safety and delivery procedures
- Ability to safely handle and secure heavy or awkward loads
- Reliable, punctual and organised approach
- Clear communication skills and a professional manner
