The company is looking for reliable Warehouse Operatives to support its busy warehouse operation in Wakefield. This temporary night-shift role would suit someone who is organised, dependable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, check and put away incoming stock
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Load and unload goods safely
- Move stock around the warehouse using appropriate equipment
- Complete stock checks and maintain accurate records
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and safe
- Follow site procedures, health and safety guidance and supervisor instructions
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily targets
Skills and qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is useful but not essential
- Good attention to detail and a reliable approach to work
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving goods
- Willingness to work night shifts
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and commitment to safe working practices
