Key responsibilities
- Drive a car or van safely and responsibly
- Complete multidrop deliveries, including more than 10 stops where required
- Load, unload and move goods using handball methods
- Check delivery items and support accurate, timely drop-offs
- Follow agreed routes, delivery instructions and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a professional standard when representing the employer
Skills and qualifications
- Experience completing multidrop deliveries, ideally involving more than 10 drops
- Practical experience with handball loading and unloading
- Good knowledge of local roads and the ability to follow delivery schedules
- Reliable, punctual and organised approach to work
- Physically able to carry out manual handling duties safely
- Appropriate driving entitlement for the vehicle used
- Good communication skills and a helpful, professional manner
