The company is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join its transport operation in Street. This permanent position offers regular daytime work, competitive hourly pay and the opportunity to build a long-term driving career.

Key responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly
- Complete planned deliveries and collections in line with schedules
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues
- Ensure loads are secured correctly and delivery paperwork is completed
- Follow road safety, transport and tachograph requirements
- Maintain professional communication with customers, transport colleagues and depot staff
- Work as a tramper when required, including overnight stays away from base
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement
- Previous experience in a Class 1 driving role
- Trampler experience is required
- Good knowledge of safe loading, vehicle checks and delivery procedures
- Reliable, organised and punctual approach
- Professional attitude and commitment to safe driving
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules
