Parts Service Advisor - Stowmarket
Location: Stowmarket
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
Pay: £15.00 per hour
We are looking for an organised and computer-literate Parts Service Advisor to join our busy vehicle parts and service operation based in Stowmarket. The ideal candidate will have good office and customer service skills, be confident using computer systems, and be able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ordering vehicle parts from suppliers
- Checking parts availability and pricing
- Processing parts returns and credits
- Preparing and providing quotes
- Booking in work and coordinating jobs
- Managing fleet requirements
- Raising purchase orders (POs)
- Monitoring and controlling parts orders
- Liaising with suppliers, customers and fleet contacts
- Maintaining accurate computer records
- Providing excellent customer service
- General office and administrative duties
The Ideal Candidate
- Good office and administration skills
- Computer literate with good IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work efficiently and prioritise tasks
- Confident dealing with suppliers and customers
- Previous experience in vehicle parts, automotive services, fleet operations or a similar role would be advantageous
