Key responsibilities:
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly
- Complete collections and deliveries within agreed timeframes
- Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects
- Secure loads correctly and follow loading and unloading procedures
- Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately
- Communicate courteously with customers and transport colleagues
- Follow drivers hours, tachograph, health and safety requirements
- Represent the business professionally at collection and delivery points
Skills and qualifications:
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E
