Pay: £12.71 to £13.00 per hour

A temporary opportunity is available for a reliable Car/Van Driver to support day-to-day delivery and collection activities in a warehousing environment. This role would suit someone who is organised, safety-conscious and comfortable working independently while providing a professional service.
Key responsibilities
- Drive company cars or vans safely and responsibly
- Complete collections and deliveries within agreed timescales
- Load, unload and secure goods where required
- Carry out basic vehicle checks and report any faults
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain relevant signatures
- Follow road safety, site safety and company procedures
- Maintain a professional and helpful manner when dealing with customers and colleagues
Skills and qualifications
- A full, valid UK driving licence appropriate for the vehicle
- Previous driving or delivery experience is useful but not essential
- Good knowledge of local roads and reliable navigation skills
- Safe, careful and responsible approach to driving
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and follow instructionsPhysically able to load and unload items when required
- Good communication and customer service skills
