Key responsibilities
- Drive HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and responsibly
- Complete multidrop deliveries, with more than 10 drops per route
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects
- Secure and handle goods appropriately
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Follow transport, road safety and site procedures
- Provide a professional service at delivery locations
- Work effectively to planned schedules and route requirements
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
- Relevant driver documentation and legal entitlement to drive in the UK
- Previous multidrop delivery experience
- Experience completing more than 10 drops per shift or route
- Good knowledge of safe loading, unloading and vehicle checks
- Reliable, punctual and organised approach
- Professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently while following instructions
