The role
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver, you will be responsible for making scheduled deliveries safely and efficiently across local and surrounding areas. The role involves a small multidrop workload of fewer than 10 deliveries per day, along with professional customer service and accurate completion of delivery paperwork.
Key responsibilities
- Complete multidrop deliveries safely and on time
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any issues
- Load and unload goods carefully
- Secure materials appropriately during transit
- Maintain accurate delivery records
- Represent the business professionally when visiting customers
Skills and qualifications
- Suitable 7.5-tonne driving entitlement
- Previous delivery or multidrop driving experience
- Experience completing fewer than 10 drops per day
- Good knowledge of local and surrounding road networks
- Reliable, organised and safety-conscious approach
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle goods carefully and work independently
