A local bakery business is looking for a reliable Car/Van Driver to support its daytime delivery operation in and around Salisbury. This permanent role would suit an organised and dependable driver who is confident completing a busy multi-drop route.

This bakery business operates a central bakery and supplies shops across Wiltshire, Dorset and Hampshire. It focuses on craft baking, using locally sourced ingredients where possible, and prepares fresh breads, cakes and pastries for delivery to its retail locations.
Key responsibilities
Complete multi-drop deliveries, making more than 10 stops per shift where required
Load, check and safely transport bakery products
Follow planned delivery routes and agreed schedules
Handle goods carefully and maintain a professional manner at each stop
Complete basic delivery records and report any issues promptly
Keep the vehicle clean, secure and roadworthy
Skills and qualifications
Experience of multi-drop driving, with more than 10 deliveries or stops
A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle used
Good knowledge of local roads and the ability to follow routes accurately
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Able to work independently and manage a busy daytime schedule
Professional communication and customer service skills
Good attention to detail when checking deliveries
