Key responsibilities
- Sorting and separating recyclable materials
- Loading, unloading and moving materials safely
- Keeping work areas clean, organised and free from hazards
- Following site procedures, health and safety guidance and instructions
- Supporting the wider operational team to maintain an efficient workflow
- Reporting damaged equipment, hazards or quality concerns promptly
Skills and qualifications
- Previous experience in recycling, waste management, warehousing, production or another industrial setting is useful but not essential
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to carry out practical, active duties during a shift
- Comfortable working as part of a team and following instructions
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Eligibility to work in the UK
