The role
We are looking for a reliable Production Operative to join a busy industrial workplace on a temp to perm basis. Working days, you will support the production process and help ensure work is completed safely, accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting general production and electroplating activities
- Preparing, handling and checking components
- Following work instructions and health and safety procedures
- Inspecting finished items for quality
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Working as part of a team to meet daily requirements
- Reporting any issues or defects to a supervisor
Skills and qualifications
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or a similar industrial environment is useful but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- A dependable and practical approach to work
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely
- Comfortable working on your feet and handling routine production tasks
- Good teamworking skills
- Willingness to learn new processes
