Car/Van Driver
Location: Pontypridd - Pay: £13.00 per hour - Job type: Temporary - Shift: Days
We are looking for a reliable Car/Van Driver to support delivery operations in Pontypridd. This is a hands-on driving role involving multi-drop deliveries, vehicle loading and unloading, and regular customer-facing work.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a car or van safely and responsibly
- Complete multi-drop deliveries, typically involving more than 10 drops
- Load, unload and handball goods safely
- Check delivery items and ensure orders are handled carefully
- Follow planned routes and delivery instructions
- Complete any required delivery records
- Maintain a professional and dependable approach throughout the working day
Skills and qualifications
- A full, valid UK driving licence suitable for the vehicle being driven
- Previous car or van driving experience is useful
- Experience of multi-drop delivery work is preferred
- Physically able to carry out handball duties
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Comfortable working independently and managing a busy delivery schedule
