Key responsibilities
- Drive a car or van safely and responsibly
- Complete multidrop deliveries, with more than 10 stops where required
- Load, unload and move goods by hand
- Check that deliveries are handled carefully and completed on time
- Maintain a professional and helpful approach during deliveries
- Follow delivery instructions and workplace safety procedures
Skills and qualifications
- A valid driving licence suitable for the vehicle used
- Previous delivery or driving experience is useful but not essential
- Experience of multidrop work, particularly over 10 drops, is desirable
- Ability to carry out handball duties and other physically active tasks
- Good time management and route-planning skills
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Good communication and customer service skills
