Key responsibilities
- Drive a car or van safely and responsibly
- Complete multi-drop deliveries, including more than 10 stops where required
- Load, unload and move furniture using handball techniques
- Check delivery items and paperwork before and during routes
- Provide a professional and helpful service at each delivery
- Follow site, vehicle and health and safety procedures
- Keep the vehicle and delivery equipment clean and secure
Skills and qualifications
- Full, valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle
- Previous driving or delivery experience is desirable
- Experience with multi-drop work is preferred
- Able to complete more than 10 deliveries in a shift when required
- Physically fit and comfortable with regular handball duties
- Good knowledge of local roads and route planning
- Reliable, punctual and well organised
- Clear communication and a professional manner
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
