Workchain, a leading UK-based recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Car Driver to join our esteemed client's team in Chipping Warden. This is an ongoing position in the driving industry, offering a pay rate of £12.71/hr. We are looking for individuals that are keen to grow within an already thriving company. You will be delivering prestige vehicles to customers, whilst being given the opportunity to drive a huge variety of high quality cars whilst being paid to do so. This job appeals to a car enthusiast. This job is Monday-Friday work with flexibility regarding days off, 8-12 hour days and long term work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transporting High Value vehicles across the UK.
- Delivering vehicles to customers that have requested them through hire purchase and test drive.
- Conducting regular vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety regulations.
- Adhering to delivery schedules and ensuring exceptional customer service at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including tracking delivery progress and obtaining necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Communicating effectively with the customer service team and other drivers to ensure efficient routes and timely deliveries.
- Present yourself well and wear smart business-like attire.
Qualifications:
- Full UK driving license with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Proven experience as a car/van driver, preferably within a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of Banbury/Chipping Warden and surrounding areas, ensuring optimal route planning.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact professionally with customers.
