Trade Counter Operative / Sales Assistant
Location: Omagh
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Pay Frequency: Weekly – every Wednesday
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
We are currently recruiting for a Trade Counter Operative / Sales Assistant to join our client’s team based in Omagh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, punctual and enjoys working with customers. Previous experience in a trade counter, sales or customer service environment would be preferred, although candidates without previous experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answering incoming telephone calls and dealing with customer enquiries
- Operating the till and processing customer transactions
- Assisting customers with their requirements
- General trade counter and sales duties
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming counter area
- Working as part of a team to provide excellent customer service
The Ideal Candidate
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly and confident when dealing with customers
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable answering the telephone
- Previous trade counter, sales or customer service experience is desirable
- Full driving licence is essential
- Willing to learn and work as part of a team
