Location: Gloucester Salary: £13.00 to £14.50 per hour Job type: Temp-perm Shift: 7:30am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday, Days
The company is looking for a reliable Car/Van Driver to support its logistics operation in Gloucester. This is a temp-perm role suited to someone who is confident driving locally, working to delivery schedules and handling a busy multi-drop workload as well as being physically fit for some heavy lifting.

The company operates within the logistics sector, providing freight collection, sorting and delivery services across regional and national routes. Its work includes handling a range of consignments and supporting next-day delivery activity. The company also places importance on safe working practices, driver training and effective freight handling.
Key responsibilities
• Driving a car or van safely and responsibly • Completing multi-drop deliveries, typically involving more than 40 drops per route and several collections • Loading, unloading and moving consignments by hand • Carrying out handball duties safely and efficiently • Following planned routes, delivery instructions and agreed schedules • Providing professional service when dealing with customers and delivery points • Completing required vehicle and delivery checks • Reporting any issues with the vehicle, freight or route promptly
Skills and qualifications
• A full driving licence suitable for the vehicle being driven • Previous multi-drop delivery experience • Experience completing multidrop deliveries • Good handball and manual handling ability • A safe, responsible and dependable approach to driving • Good time-management and organisational skills • Ability to work independently and follow instructions • Good communication and customer service skills
