HGV Class 1 Driver

Pay: £17.00 to £20.00 per hour

A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join a haulage operation in Tewkesbury. This night-shift role involves trunking and retail store deliveries, with both driving and handball duties.

Key responsibilities
Carry out HGV Class 1 trunking work
Complete night-time retail store deliveries
Load, unload and move goods using handball methods
Carry out fridge work and maintain delivery standards
Complete vehicle and delivery documentation accurately
Follow transport, road safety and site procedures
Provide professional service at customer and delivery locations
Skills and qualifications
Valid HGV Class 1 licence
Driver CPC qualification
Experience in trunking and retail deliveries
Fridge work experience
Comfortable with handball duties
Good knowledge of drivers hours and road safety requirements xiskglj
Reliable, professional and able to work independently
Good communication and time-management skills
