It supplies a varied range of drinks and provides delivery services to trade customers. Key responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Complete local delivery routes and local drops
- Load, unload and move goods using handball techniques
- Check deliveries and ensure items are handled securely
- Complete delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly
- Provide a professional and courteous service at each delivery point
- Follow relevant road safety, vehicle and workplace procedures Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Previous experience with local delivery work
- Confident carrying out handball duties
- Good knowledge of local roads and routes
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Physically fit enough to load and unload goods
- Able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Professional approach when dealing with customers and colleagues
