Key responsibilities
- Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Completing multi-drop deliveries, typically involving more than 10 drops
- Planning and following delivery routes
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any issues
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing professional customer service at each delivery point
- Following road safety, company and legal requirements
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Driver CPC and tachograph card
- Previous multi-drop driving experience
- Comfortable completing more than 10 deliveries per shift
- Good knowledge of road safety and delivery procedures
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Professional manner and strong communication skills
- Physically able to carry out delivery duties
