The role involves the safe and responsible transportation of cargo, following planned routes and completing deliveries or collections as required.
Key responsibilities
Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and responsibly Transport different types of cargo in line with instructions Complete vehicle checks before and after journeys Secure loads appropriately and report any issues Follow road safety, transport and site procedures Complete delivery and collection paperwork accurately Maintain clear communication with relevant contacts during each journey Take reasonable care of the vehicle and equipment Skills and qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 driving entitlement Appropriate Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Digital tachograph card A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving Good timekeeping and reliability Ability to follow instructions and complete required documentation Good awareness of road safety and vehicle checks Benefits Paid every Wednesday Visibility to local employers About the company This role is with a workplace involved in the transportation of all types of cargo in and around Immingham, South Humberside.
