PPT Operator

Shift: Days (06:00 - 18:00) Wednesday to Saturday or Thursday to Sunday
A temporary opportunity is available for a PPT Operator to join an industrial workplace in Lincoln. This role would suit a reliable individual who is comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment and can follow instructions carefully.
About the company
This Lincoln-based business operates in the potato supply and processing sector, working with fresh, prepared and seed potatoes. The role offers the opportunity to work locally within an industrial setting supporting the movement and handling of stock during daytime operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operating a powered pallet truck safely and responsibly
- Moving pallets, materials and stock around the site
- Loading and unloading goods as required
- Supporting the wider warehouse or production team
- Keeping work areas tidy and organised
- Following site procedures, manual-handling guidance and health and safety rules
- Reporting damaged goods, equipment issues or other concerns promptly
Skills and qualifications
- Previous PPT experience is desirable
- A valid PPT licence or certificate would be advantageous
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team
- Physically able to carry out a role involving regular movement and material handling
- A careful approach to operating equipment and handling stock
