Key responsibilities
- Clean floors, surfaces, work areas and shared facilities
- Remove waste and keep cleaning equipment stored safely
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- Maintain a consistent standard of cleanliness throughout the shift
- Report any hazards, damage or maintenance issues to the appropriate person
- Complete duties in line with site requirements and instructions
Skills and qualities
- Previous cleaning or industrial cleaning experience is useful but not essential
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Good attention to detail
- Practical approach to completing routine tasks
- Able to follow instructions and workplace safety requirements
- Physically able to remain active while carrying out cleaning duties
Qualifications
