The role
- Receiving, checking and storing deliveries
- Picking and preparing goods for dispatch
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Moving stock around the warehouse and production areas
- Keeping stock records accurate
- Preparing orders and packaging products
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Following workplace, manual handling and health and safety procedures
- Supporting the wider production team when required
About you
You will be dependable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team. Good attention to detail, a practical approach and a willingness to follow instructions are important. The role may involve regular manual handling, so you should be comfortable working in an active warehouse environment. Previous warehouse, production or logistics experience would be useful, although full training may be available for the right person. A valid forklift qualification may be beneficial but is not essential unless required for specific duties.
