Class 1 HGV Drivers - Depot & Customer Deliveries
Location: Lakenheath Job Type: Temporary - Monday to Friday Pay: £18.00 per hour (Days) | £19.00 per hour (Nights) Start: Next week Shifts: 10-12 hours
We are currently recruiting for 2 x Class 1 HGV Drivers to join our client in Lakenheath for work starting next week. This is a straightforward driving role involving the movement of tyres between depots and deliveries to customers. There is limited manual handling involved, making this a great opportunity for drivers looking for a predominantly driving-based role.
The Role
- Class 1 HGV driving
- Moving tyres between depots
- Delivering tyres to customers
- Predominantly driving-based work
- Approximately 10-12 hour shifts
- Monday to Friday
- No minimum Class 1 experience required
Shift & Pay
- Day ShiftMonday to Friday6:00am start£18.00 per hour
- Night ShiftMonday to Friday4:00pm start£19.00 per hour
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph
- No minimum experience required
- Reliable and professional attitude
- Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations
Potential for Ongoing Work
Although this position is initially for one week, the client is a prime account, meaning there is a strong possibility of further work becoming available.
