The role
We are seeking an HGV Class 2 Driver to support office relocation and storage work across the local area and beyond. Working as part of a two-person crew, you will help ensure goods and equipment are transported safely, securely and on schedule.
Key responsibilities
• Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and in line with road safety requirements • Supporting loading, unloading and the careful handling of office furniture and equipment • Working closely with a second crew member during collections and deliveries • Completing vehicle checks and reporting any issues promptly • Following delivery instructions and maintaining a professional approach at customer sites • Helping keep loads secure and the vehicle clean and organised
Skills and qualifications
• A valid HGV Class 2 driving licence • Experience driving HGV Class 2 vehicles • Comfortable working as part of a two-person crew • Good awareness of vehicle safety and load security • Physically fit and able to assist with manual handling • Reliable, punctual and presentable • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
