Key responsibilities
- Complete scheduled trunking deliveries and collections safely and efficiently.
- Operate non-ADR tanker vehicles in line with legal and company requirements.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues promptly.
- Secure and handle loads appropriately throughout each journey.
- Complete delivery paperwork and other required records accurately.
- Maintain high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
- Plan routes effectively and meet agreed delivery times.
- Follow site, transport and health and safety procedures at all times.
Skills and qualifications
- HGV Class 1 entitlement with relevant driving experience.
- Experience of trunking work is required.
- Experience operating non-ADR tankers is required.
- A valid Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
- Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations.
- A reliable, safety-conscious and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills and a flexible attitude.
