The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver / Loader, you'll be responsible for driving refuse collection vehicles and assisting with domestic and commercial waste collections when required. This is a hands-on role, working outdoors in all weather conditions alongside an experienced crew.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 2 refuse collection vehicles.
- Carry out scheduled waste and recycling collections.
- Assist with loading duties as required.
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks.
- Follow all health and safety procedures.
- Deliver a professional and courteous service to the public.
What We're Looking For
- Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
- Driver CPC qualification.
- Digital Tachograph Card.
- Good level of physical fitness.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Previous driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
