The company is looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative to support day-to-day warehouse activity in Grimsby. This is a temporary, daytime opportunity suited to someone who works well as part of a team and can maintain high standards in a busy operational environment.

Key responsibilities
- Receiving, checking and storing goods safely and accurately
- Picking and packing orders according to instructions
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Moving stock around the warehouse using safe manual handling methods
- Completing warehouse paperwork and basic stock checks
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Following health and safety, food safety and site procedures
- Working cooperatively with colleagues to meet daily requirements
Skills and qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is useful but not essential
- Good attention to detail and a responsible approach to handling goods
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good level of reliability, punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Physically able to carry out warehouse duties safely
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Any relevant warehouse, manual handling or equipment training would be advantageous
