This is a permanent daytime opportunity with regular work, overtime availability and a minimum of eight hours paid.
Key responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Complete deliveries and collections in line with planned schedules
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Secure loads safely and complete delivery paperwork accurately
- Provide professional customer service at collection and delivery locations
- Follow relevant road transport, health and safety procedures
- Maintain high standards of vehicle and load care
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving licence
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Digital tachograph card
- Safe, responsible and professional approach to driving
- Good communication and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and follow delivery instructions
- Previous Class 2 driving experience is desirable
