Job Description HGV Class 1 Driver - TEMP TO PERM \n A temporary to permanent opportunity is available for HGV Class 1 Drivers to support transport operations in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch area. It focuses on tailored, technology-supported supply chain solutions and promotes an inclusive workplace that supports people from varied backgrounds. \n Key responsibilities \n • Completing planned deliveries and collections safely and on time \n • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly \n • Ensuring loads are secure and handled in line with required procedures \n • Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records \n • Following drivers' hours, working time and road safety regulations \n • Representing the business professionally at delivery and collection locations \n • Keeping the vehicle clean, secure and in good working order \n Skills and qualifications \n • Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E \n • Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) \n • Valid digital tachograph card \n • Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience \n • Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations \n • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach \n • Professional communication skills and a responsible attitude \n • Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
