A temporary opportunity is available for an experienced Car/Van Driver to support deliveries from the company’s electrical wholesale operation in the Cwmbran area. This role will suit a reliable driver who is comfortable with physical work, long-distance travel and completing busy multi-drop routes.

Its activities include industrial equipment, switchgear, control gear, site equipment, enclosures, wiring accessories and products for renewable or leisure applications.
Key responsibilities
- Driving a car or van safely and responsibly
- Completing long-distance delivery routes
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries, including more than 10 drops
- Loading, unloading and moving goods by hand
- Checking deliveries and ensuring items reach the correct destinations
- Providing a professional and dependable service at each delivery point
- Following site, vehicle and health and safety procedures
Skills and qualifications
- Experience in handball and manual loading or unloading
- Previous experience of long-distance driving
- Experience completing multi-drop routes with over 10 deliveries
- A suitable, valid driving licence for the vehicle used
- Good timekeeping and route-planning ability
- A careful, safety-conscious approach to driving
- Physically able to handle goods safely
- Reliable, organised and customer-focused
