Start Times: Days: 6:00 am8:00 am | Nights: 6:00 pm8:00 pm
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for trunking work based in Shepton Mallet . This is an excellent opportunity to join a professional transport operation offering consistent Monday-to-Friday work, competitive rates of pay, and a choice of day or night shifts. You'll be driving modern Class 1 vehicles on planned trunking routes, with no weekend working required.

Key Responsibilities
Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle on scheduled trunking routes
Completing depot-to-depot deliveries and collections
Carrying out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety
Securing curtain-sided loads where required
Completing relevant paperwork and daily records
Following Drivers' Hours, Working Time Directive, and tachograph regulations
Keeping the assigned vehicle clean and reporting any defects promptly
Requirements
Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
Valid Driver CPC qualification
Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) card
No more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Previous experience driving curtain-sided vehicles is preferred
Good time management and communication skills
Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious attitude
