A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy local operation in Chipping Sodbury. This is a day-shift role suited to a reliable driver who is confident completing multi-drop deliveries.
Key responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Complete multidrop deliveries, including routes with more than 10 drops
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Ensure goods are handled securely and delivered in good condition
- Complete delivery paperwork and other required records accurately
- Maintain professional standards when representing the operation
- Follow all relevant road safety, transport and site procedures
Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement
- Experience completing multidrop delivery work, ideally with more than 10 drops per route
- Good knowledge of road safety and safe vehicle operation
- Reliable, punctual and organised approach
- Able to work independently and manage delivery schedules
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Physically capable of carrying out delivery duties where required
