Key responsibilities
- Safely operate a counterbalance forklift in line with site procedures
- Load and unload vehicles and move goods around the warehouse
- Store materials accurately and support efficient stock movement
- Complete routine checks on the forklift and report any defects
- Follow health and safety requirements at all times
- Work closely with warehouse and transport colleagues
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working area
Skills and qualifications
- Valid counterbalance forklift licence or recognised certificate
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Confident operating a counterbalance truck
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Physically able to carry out warehouse duties
- Good communication and teamwork skills
