The company is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support daily haulage and warehouse operations in Cheltenham. This is a permanent daytime opportunity offering regular work, a minimum of eight hours’ pay and potential overtime.

The company operates in the road transport and general haulage sector, supporting the movement and handling of goods from its Gloucestershire base. Its work includes palletised distribution and related transport and storage activities, with a focus on dependable day-to-day service and organised depot operations.
Key responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading vehicles and moving goods around the site
- Checking loads for condition, accuracy and safe positioning
- Supporting the loading team with general warehouse and yard duties
- Following site procedures, health and safety requirements and manual-handling guidance
- Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe working area
- Working cooperatively with drivers, warehouse colleagues and supervisors
Skills and qualifications
- Current counterbalance forklift qualification
- Previous forklift, warehouse, yard or haulage experience
- Good awareness of workplace health and safety
- Ability to move and handle goods safely
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a practical approach to daily tasks
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required
