Job Description We are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Portishead , near the football club. \n This is a temp-to-perm opportunity , with the potential to become permanent after 13 weeks , subject to successfully passing probation. (New passes are welcome) PAY & HOURS \n \n \n £16 per hour \n \n 39-hour basic working week \n \n Monday-Thursday: 7:00am-4:45pm \n \n Friday: 7:00am-3:45pm \n \n 1 hour overtime per day paid at time and a half for when you start at 07:00am when you go permanent. \n \n Earlier starts may be required during busier periods \n \n Temp-to-perm opportunity \n THE ROLE \n Daily responsibilities will include: \n \n \n Vehicle walk-around checks \n \n Strapping and securing loads \n \n Multi-drop deliveries \n \n Approximately 8-10 deliveries per day \n \n Deliveries across Bristol, Gloucester, Somerset and Wiltshire \n \n Very, little handball, as you are dealing with steel the majority of loading and unloading is completed by forklift \n LOCATION \n Portishead - near the football club \n This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for stable, ongoing work with a clear route into permanent employment . \
