We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to join a well-established transport and logistics company based in Burntwood. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and professional driver looking for ongoing, full-time work with consistent weekday hours.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am starts
- Day shifts with regular working hours
The Role
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for completing deliveries and collections across the local and surrounding areas, ensuring goods are transported safely, securely and on time. The role may involve multi-drop deliveries and collections, so a professional approach and excellent customer service skills are essential. You will carry out daily vehicle safety checks, ensure all loads are secure, comply with UK driving regulations and complete all delivery paperwork accurately.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous HGV Class 2 driving experience preferred
- Good knowledge of UK driving hours and tachograph regulations
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
