About the role
A permanent opportunity is available for an experienced 7.5 Tonne Driver to support deliveries from a steel fabrication business. This is a day-shift role involving regular multidrop work and over 10 deliveries per route.
Key responsibilities
- Safely drive and operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- Complete multidrop deliveries efficiently and professionally
- Make more than 10 deliveries per route where required
- Load, unload and handle goods safely
- Complete delivery paperwork and vehicle checks
- Provide a reliable and courteous service to customers
- Follow all relevant road safety and company procedures
Skills and qualifications
- Experience in a 7.5-tonne driving role
- Proven experience completing multidrop deliveries, ideally 10 or more drops
- The appropriate licence to drive a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- Good knowledge of safe loading and unloading practices
- Strong time-management and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
