Key responsibilities
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Support the collection of household recycling and green waste
- Complete daily driving duties in line with operational requirements
- Carry out appropriate vehicle and safety checks
- Work professionally and courteously while carrying out the role
- Follow relevant workplace, driving and health and safety procedures
Skills and qualifications
- A valid HGV Class 2 driving entitlement appropriate for the role
- Safe, responsible and considerate driving skills
- Good awareness of road safety and vehicle checks
- Reliable attendance and a professional approach to work
- Ability to work independently and as part of an operational team
- Good communication skills
- A willingness to complete the duties associated with household recycling and green waste collections
